Celebrating Fall - Corn!

 It's corn - a big lump with knobz!  

We are celebrating fall this entire month, and of course corn, pumpkins and leaves came to mind. I happily surpirsed at how successful the corn sensory bins have been! Some littles even began climbing inside the large bin for a full body experience.

-Wooden Scoops
-Cracked Corn
-Corn On The Cob Wild Bird Food
-Handy Scoopers
-Smal Pie Tins
-Fresh corn on the cob.

Now onto the photos:

Exploring corn was a full sensory experience. From noticing the different textures between the dry corn and fresh corn, how it smells, and some kiddos even nibbled on the fresh corn! I can't blame them. I also enjoyed watching the children using their fine motor skills to pick off the kernels!
